Sukanya Vivah

In Indian tradition, marriage (Vivah) is a sacred samskara, a fundamental rite of passage that signifies a bond meant to last a lifetime. However, due to poverty, social challenges, or the absence of a guardian, many deserving individuals, particularly young women, are deprived of this fundamental right to a dignified married life.

Our Approach:

  • Facilitating Marriages: With the support of our SNOW family, friends, and volunteers, we intend to organize and support marriages for those who otherwise face significant barriers.

  • Holistic Support: Beyond the wedding ceremony, we aim to provide initial livelihood support to these couples, helping them establish a foundation for a normal and self-reliant life.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity for a happy and healthy life, and for many, a secure marriage is a crucial step towards that.
